Marne, MI - In a social media post on Friday afternoon, Berlin Raceway announced they will end their partnership with Hoosier Racing Tire and form an alliance with American Racer Great Lakes in all divisions in 2024. The announcement drew plenty of conversation on social media after a season that saw a number of tracks leave behind Hoosier.
On the pavement side, Galesburg Speedway announced prior to the 2023 season that they would race on the Cobra tire, and many drivers found success. On the dirt, tracks like Crystal Motor Speedway, Thunderbird Raceway, Mt. Pleasant Speedway, and other's have remained committed to American Racer.
In the release, attached, Berlin General Manager, Mike Bursley spoke of a tire test and sufficient results, as well as the proximity of the American Racer Great Lakes warehouse to the facility. Berlin Raceway is set to kick off their season on Saturday, April 20th before welcoming a number of touring series who utilize the Hoosier Tire.
