Elkhart, Ind. (May 2, 2023) May is a big month for motorsports, the Indy 500 and the Grand Prix of Monaco come to mind, as well as the start of the Reveal The Hammer Outlaw Late Model Tour at Birch Run Speedway in eastern Michigan. The 2023-year marks the third season for the Reveal The Hammer Tour and it will be the biggest version to date.
The opening round of the Tour will see the top Outlaw Late Model racers in the country travel to Birch Run Speedway on Saturday, May 20. The 4/10 mile, progressively banked, D-shaped oval asphalt track offers racers and fans alike, a facility that is second to none.
The recently paved race pit area gives welcomes racers at the gate that offers ideal preparations before teams tackle the wide quick track. The awesome grandstand area offers fans great sight lines and concessions, including great food offerings, a family picnic area, and the state-of-the-art Gas Alley bar.
The competition at the RTH season opener will include three former Birch Run winners with Dan Leeck, Phil Bozell, and Steve Needles all looking to repeat their past performances. The trio will face tough competition as drivers from the tri-state area and Canada are expected to fill the field.
The 100-lap feature will highlight the evening of competition that will also include Modifieds, American Trucks, and Limited Late Models.
