Flat Rock, MI (Tuesday, March 23, 2021) - With the pandemic in a seemingly fluid situation, officials at Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways have announced schedule adjustments based on the current orders in each state.
At Toledo, adjustments were made for the Sunday, May 22nd, Herr’s Potato Chips 200, featuring the ARCA Menards Series. Two of the track’s house divisions will also compete on the card. The ARCA Factory Stocks will stage a feature only at 5:00 pm, prior to General Tire Pole Qualifying for the ARCA Menards Series. The ARCA Late Model Sportsman will see their green flag fly at 6:30 pm, with the Herr’s Potato Chips 200 scheduled to take the green at 8:00 pm. Toledo’s first event of 2021 is the Central Avenue Truck Parts School Bus Figure 8 event, on Sunday afternoon May 16th. The Factory Stocks and Late Model Sportsman are also on the card, along with a Boat Figure 8. Spectator gates will open at Noon for the event, with the first green flag dropping at 2:00 pm.
Also announced, until further notice, advance tickets for events at the Glass City oval will go on sale 30 days prior to each event. Officials expect to release additional information in the coming weeks.
As for the Flat Rock Speedway, their first three events, May 1st, May 8th, and May 15th, all will have a special Saturday afternoon start time of 4:00 pm. Officials have also announced that The Vault Enduro 250, originally scheduled for June 19th, will now take place on June 12th. That event, now the Corrigan Race Fuels 400, will feature the 250 lap Enduro, a 100 lap feature for the ARCA Street Stocks, along with 25 lap features for the MCR Dwarf Cars (Steve Martin Memorial) and the Bandoleros. The TKC Go-Karts will also stage an exhibition prior to the event.
As for the June 19th event, the Street Stocks will now join a line-up that will feature the ARCA/CRA Super Series for the Vandoorn Racing Development 100. The CRA Junior Late Models and the Bandoleros will also be in action.
It was also announced that the ticket office and the spectator gates will open two hours prior to each race event, until further notice. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance ticket sales will be available for Flat Rock’s two School Bus Figure 8 events, July 3rd and September 4th. Those tickets will be available for purchase 30 days prior to each event.
