Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways Release Tentative 2021 Schedules

Flat Rock, MI (Friday, January 15, 2021) - Looking to make a big comeback in 2021, Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway officials released their schedules for the upcoming race season, after virtually being shut down in 2020. Flat Rock Speedway was unable to hold a single even in 2020 due to the pandemic, but looks to make some noise is 2021.

Opening Night at the ¼ mile bullring is set for May 1st, with Outlaw Super Late Models, Street Stocks, and Figure 8’s to kick off the season. Several huge events dot the schedule, including the Joy Fair Memorial 100 (May 29th), and the Level Pebble 400 (June 19th) which features 100 laps for the ARCA / CRA Super Series, 25 laps for the CRA Junior Late Models, and the Bandoleros, along with a 250 lap Enduro to cap off the night. Additional can’t miss events include the Street Stock 100 ( June 12th) the Firecracker 150 and Fireworks (July 10th), and the Stan Yee Memorial 150 (July 24th).

Flat Rock will also play host to two very popular School Bus Figure 8 events on July 3rd and Sept 4th. Two Autograph Nights are on the schedule ( June 26th / July 31st) allowing fans to go down on the race track to meet their favorite drivers. The traditional season championship event is slated for Aug 21st.

As for Toledo Speedway, the ultra-fast ½-mile was able to hold two events, with fans, in 2020, the ARCA Menards Series and Glass City 200 events in September. The final approved event in 2020, the USAC Silver Crown Championship, was lost to mother nature.

Toledo will kick off its 2021 season on May 16th, with their always popular version of the School Bus Figure 8. Late Model Sportsman and Factory Stocks will also be in action, along with a Boat Figure 8 Race scheduled to be on the card. One week later on May 22nd, the ARCA Menards Series will invade Toledo for their annual 200 lap event. Traditional events that return to the schedule for 2021 include the 62nd Anniversary Show on July 17th. Outlaw Super Late Models will go 50 laps, while joined by the Late Model Sportsman, Factory Stocks, and Figure 8’s.

The Glass City 200 is slated for its usual spot on the schedule on Sept 18th, with the ARCA / CRA Super Series and the Outlaw Super Late Models battling for 100 laps each. They will also be joined by the CRA Jr Late Models once again in 2021. The season will wrap up on October 10th, with the Hemelgarn/Super Fitness Rollie Beale Classic 100 for the USAC Silver Crown Series. It will also be championship night for the Late Model Sportsman and the Factory Stocks. Two additional School Bus Figure 8 events ( June 18th and August 13th), and the very popular O’Reilly Auto Parts Monster Truck Show ( July 1st) also hold spots on the 2021 schedule. With the current state of the pandemic, officials warn that all dates for both tracks are tentative and subject to change.
