Thornburg, VA (April 2, 2025) – Race fans, start your engines! The highly anticipated Appalachian Sucker Punch 250 presented by Jone’s Utilities is set to roar into action this Saturday, April 5 at Dominion Raceway, and with a much improved weather forecast, it's full speed ahead for an electrifying night of racing.
Headlining the event is the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour, bringing the nation’s top short track stars together for an intense battle on the high-speed oval. Joining the action-packed program are the INEX Legends, delivering fast-paced thrills and fierce competition.
Some of the star Super Late Model racers fans can expect to see include Bubba Pollard, Stephen Nasse, Derek Thorn, Cole Butcher, Johnny Sauter, Landon Pembleton, Matt Craig, Derek Kraus, Gavan Boschele, Austin Nason, Dawson Sutton, Caden Kvapil, Kyle Steckly, Jake Garcia, and many more.

Gates open at 4:00PM, with STARS qualifying at 4:30, Legends feature at 5:00, on track autographs 6:00, and the green flag on the 250 lap feature at 7:35. Fans can look forward to an evening of high-speed competition, heart-pounding drama, and edge-of-your-seat excitement as the Appalachian Sucker Punch 250 takes center stage.
