Great Lakes Super Sprints 2024 Points Payout Structure Revieled

Merrill, MI – Great Lakes Super Sprints presented by Engine Pro & ARP is pleased to announce our 2024 Points fund; a total of $78,400.00. For those drivers that wish to race only in Michigan or Ohio, we have the Michigan CAT Sprint Car Division and the Ohio CAT Sprint Car Division. For drivers that want to run all of the GLSS shows, we have the TOUR.

Michigan CAT Sprint Car Division currently has 15 races scheduled with potentially 1 more race added before the season. All the races in Michigan will be points races for this division.

The Ohio CAT Sprint Car Division currently has 17 races scheduled with a potential of 1 or 2 more races added before the season. All the races in Ohio will be points races for this division.

The TOUR includes all the Michigan CAT Sprint Car Division and all the Ohio CAT Sprint Car Division and 7 additional races bringing the TOUR races currently to 39 with the potential of 1-3 additional races added before the season.

To receive 100% of the payout in the Michigan or Ohio Divisions, a driver must attend 100% of the races, minus 1 race. The remaining points will be paid out based on the percentage of races a driver attends down to 70%.

A membership will need to be purchased for the division a driver will be running. A tour membership will allow a member to run for points in both divisions and the Tour. The division membership will allow you to run for points in the respective division and any GLSS shows as a member, however, the division drivers will not be eligible for the TOUR points fund. Points will not start accumulating until all paperwork and memberships are submitted.

The regular memberships include a supplemental $100,000 medical insurance coverage and a $15,000 death and dismemberment policy. These coverages are only good on race day. If anyone wants an AFLAC Accident Policy* which gives you coverage 24/7, for the season, there is a separate membership signup that includes this AFLAC Policy. Yes, this accident policy includes racing, unlike some group accident policies that exclude racing. Click the link for memberships:

*If drivers would like a partner or family AFLAC policy, that is available as well. What is included in the membership is an individual policy.
