JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour at Anderson Speedway Saturday for the Fudge Packer 100



Special from Champion Racing Association: Salem, IN (August 2, 2022) – The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance will return to action this Saturday in the Fudge Packer 100 Presented by Uranus Fudge Factory at Anderson Speedway located in Anderson, Indiana. The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour has competed at Anderson Speedway nine times since the 2011 season. Trent Snyder is a three-time series winner at Anderson, from 2011 through 2013. Four time series Champion Cody Coughlin is a two-time series winner at Anderson in 2016 and won last years event. Other winners of series events at Anderson Speedway includes Steve Dorer, Eddie Van Meter, Hunter Jack and Josh Brock. To date none of the previous winners are entered for Saturday’s event.


Saturday’s event will be the seventh points event of the season for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. Casey Roderick won the series’ season opener on April 24th at Salem Speedway. Dylan Fetcho won the second event at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on May 7th. Kyle Crump won the series’ third event at Birch Run Speedway on May 14th. Ethan Stadniczuk won the fourth event of the season at Flat Rock Speedway on June 16th. Carson Hocevar won the series fifth event at Birch Run Speedway on July 4th. Willie Allen won the July 9th Masters of the Pros event at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.


Nick Egan comes into Saturday’s event as both the series Championship points leader and the Rookie of the Year points leader. Dakota Stroup is second in points, he is 33 points behind Egan. Stadniczuk is in third place, with Cole Williams in fourth place and Jimmy Tucker in fifth place.


Egan, Stroup and Stadniczuk top the list of entries for Saturday’s Fudge Packer 100 at Anderson Speedway.


Other top series drivers entered include two-time Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Anderson Speedway event winner Brandon Varney and his brother Evan Varney, James Krueger, former Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Anderson Speedway event winner Brett Robinson, Kevin Cremonesi, former series Winchester Speedway event winner Wes Griffith and Dylan Bates.


Two-time Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman event winner J.P. Crabtree is entered to make his series 2022 debut. Crabtree has also went to victory lane at Anderson Speedway this season with the MEP Late Models. Danny Trent, a three-time winner with the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman, is entered to make his 2022 series debut. CRA Late Model Sportsman and Anderson Speedway MEP Late Model regular Mike Sargent is entered to make his series debut Saturday.


Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway 2022 Pro Late Model event winner Hunter Wright is entered along with Nashville regular Zach Johnson. Missouri driver Joey Strode is entered to make his series 2022 debut. Former CRA Junior Late Model Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour competitor Charlie Keeven is entered to make his series debut Saturday. Canadian Nicholas Naugle has entered Saturday’s event as well.


There is an open practice on Friday, pits open at 3:30pm, open practice will go from 4:30 to 7:30pm. Pits open on Saturday at 1pm. Practice will begin for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour at 3pm. Nova Motorsports Qualifying will begin at 5:30pm. Racing action will begin at 7:30pm and will include the Fudge Packer 100 Presented by Uranus Fudge Factory for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. Also racing that night will be the Anderson Speedway MEP Late Models and ThunderCars along with theThunder Roadsters.
