Owosso, MI - For 15 seasons, the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance has shined a spotlight on Pro Late Model racing in the Midwest and across the country. For 13 of those seasons, one race has brought even more national attention and recognition to Pro Late Model racing than any other; the Masters of the Pros. This season, the talk is louder, the anticipation is bigger, and the purse is massive for the Masters of the Pros 200 at Owosso Speedway on Wednesday, July 16th.
Many race fans across the country are talking about the visit to Owosso Speedway by former NASCAR Cup Series Champion, Kevin Harvick, and his son, rising talent, Keelan Harvick. The pair are on a summer racing adventure dubbed as the “Harvick Showdown”, putting father and son on the same track racing head-to-head for the first time in their careers. On Wednesday, the Harvicks unload for the one and only stop in the Midwest when they take on Owosso Speedway.

Template Late Model fans know the other nationally recognizable names on the entry list, like former All American and Winchester 400 winner, Stephen Nasse, who is slated to make his first ever Owosso Speedway start. Treyten Lapcevich, who contended for a win during the Big O Classic 100 earlier this summer, is fresh off an ARCA Menards National Series win in June. NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series racer and defending Masters of the Pros winner, Dawson Sutton will return to defend his title.
Owosso Speedway ace, Kyle Crump is on the entry list. Crump has been virtually unstoppable at Owosso Speedway, winning five straight appearances going back to 2023. The once-weekly-racer at Owosso, hasn’t attempted a Masters of the Pros since the race was moved to Owosso two seasons ago.
Other tables to keep an eye on include former JEGS Tour Champion and Masters winner, Chase Burda; 2024 JEGS Tour Champion, Blake Rowe; first-time JEGS Tour winner on July 5th, Chris Shannon; 2025 Championship contenders Keegan Sobilo, and Billy VanMeter; as well as drivers like Chase Pinsoneault, Dylan Stoval, Austin Hull, and Steve Dorer.
The 13th Annual Masters of the Pros 200 is on Wednesday, July 16th at Owosso Speedway. Fans can participate in an Autograph Session Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM with the green flag set to wave at 7:00 PM. Advanced tickets are available at OwossoSpeedway.com. Fans who can’t make the trip can catch the action on RacingAmerica.Tv or TrackTv.com.
