The Dirt Late Model scene had some movement this weekend with three tracks giving drivers an opportunity to garner points in the Michigan Power Rankings. Mid-Michigan Raceway Park, Tri-City Motor Speedway, and I-96 Speedway all raced on Friday night, but Saturday's tracks were washed away in the entire state.
Travis Stemler grew his lead on the Power Rankings after picking up five more points in his win over the 8 car field at I-96 Speedway Friday night. Then, Michael Archer took his Double Nickel machine to Mid-Michigan Raceway Park Victory Lane for the first time this season. Dona Marcoullier won a monumental race at Tri-City Motor Speedway, picking up his 200th career late model win dating back to 2003.
