Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Inductees Announced

On Thursday afternoon, the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame board, via President, Dave DeHem, announced the Class of 2025 inductees. The 2025 class is set to be inducted on Saturday, November 2nd at the University Comfort Inn in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.


The inductees and special award winners were announced via a post in the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame Facebook Group. The post read, in part, as follows:


Ten Individuals were selected by a vote of their peers which include all Past Inductees should they exercise the privilege, past Board Members should they exercise the privilege, and all Present Board of Directors, these individuals are:
Albert "Mike" Luberda and one other individual in the Oval Track Historical Era. Dwane Ong and Mike Pustelny in the Drag Racing category. Steve Dorer and Dennis Strickland in the Oval Track Modern Era category. The Late Lynn Hicks and Vic Skirmants in the other Motorsports Category, The Late Bill Younkin Sr. in the Other Than Driver( Car Owners, Mechanics, Promoters) category and Dave DeHem in the Other Than Driver(officials, Media, Historian) category.
Also, the Board of Directors selected the Late Suzanne Royce for the Lifetime Dedication Award.
 Barbara Benson for the Dick Beebe Award.
 The Late Howard Williams for the Mick Schuler Media Award.
