The updated Michigan Template Late Model Power Rankings Presented by VanDoorn Racing Development feature racing from Kalamazoo Speedway and Owosso Speedway this week for their Late Model Sportsman divisions. With Berlin giving Super Late Models Saturday off after the Money in the Bank, and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour on hiatus for the week, Late Model Sportsman drivers were able to make moves.
A non-points special for Late Model Sportsman at Owosso Speedway saw Hunter Jack come from the 9th starting spot to get the win over 2023 Track Champion, Jon Beach. Dan Leeck was a strong third ahead of Dylan Stovall and Aaron Taylor who made his first Late Model start of the season. Friday at Kalamazoo Speedway, a light field of cars made the trip to Kzoo but a good race saw Jared Blanchard collect his second win of the 2024 season holding off Chris Garrett and Billy Shannon.
