Michigan Template Power Rankings Presented by VanDoorn Racing Development

The Template Late Model scene in Michigan this weekend was surprisingly light with just Kalamazoo Speedway contributing to the results of the Michigan Template Late Model Power Rankings Presented by VanDoorn Racing Development. Berlin Raceway gave the late models the night off, as did Corrigan Oil Speedway, Springport Mid-Michigan Speedway had the night off, and Owosso Speedway was without Template Late Models while they hosted the Reveal the Hammer Outlaw Super Late Models.

That didn't stop Kalamazoo Speedway from shaking up the power rankings, though. Out of towner, Isaac Ross came up to Kzoo to take some money home, and that's just what he did. Coming from 8th, Ross held off a charge from one of the state's hottest drivers, Jerry Pierman who finished second after starting 12th.

Template Late Models have a huge weekend coming up, however, with everyone in action for Memorial Day Weekend. Berlin Raceway is back in action on Saturday, going head-to-head with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour who races Saturday as well. The regular house division at Berlin stands next to the $10,000 to win Big O Classic 100 at Owosso Speedway, the first trip to Owosso this season for the JEGS Tour. Then, on Sunday, Corrigan Oil Speedway hosts the Vore's Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman alongside their Corrigan Oil Sportsman division. All that, mixed with house division late models across the state as well.
