Nester Wires Mountaineer 50 with Midwest Modifieds Tour from Ona

The All-Time Winningest Driver in Midwest Modifieds Tour powered by Wheeler Trucking History, Brian Nester started on the Pole of the Mays Transfer & Contracting Mountaineer 50 at Ona Speedway (WV) and made no mistake the entire race in leading all 50 Laps for the Win.

The 49-year-old veteran from Hamilton, IN aboard his #11 Wheeler Trucking / Burkett Nester Racecars machine beat fellow front-row starter, J.J. Schafer to the first corner to grab the early lead.

Nester then had to fight off defending Champion, Matt Dimit and the last Tour Winner in Ona, WV, Buddy Gray before eventually pulling away to an almost five-second advantage en route to his 33rd career trip to Victory Lane.

Dimit finished 2nd for the 2nd race in a row to take over the points lead while Gray earned the Jim Gray's Cottage Care Hard-Charger Award by advancing 5 spots from 8th to complete the Podium Finishers.

2x Track Champion, Andy Booten was Fourth as Economy Auto Parts Fast Qualifier, Danny Jackson finished off the Top 5. Greg Fullarton was Sixth as Thomas Mays, Chris Johnson, Wesley Smith and Josh Artis completed the Top 10.

Schafer was 11th, but picked up the Inline Tube Rookie of the Race Award while 7x and Defending Track Champion, Jeremy Cooper was the recipient of the Getaway Layaway Vacations "Need A Vacation" Hard-Luck Award.

The #OpenWheelWarriors won't have much downtime as they'll head to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park (IN) This Friday, May 3rd and will join Cleetus McFarland and his gang of YouTubers for the Pulver Asphalt 40 / The Indy 800 presented by Heat Wave Visual and Cleetus & Cars Burnout Rivals
