New Paris, IN - After making special appearances at New Paris Speedway over the past few years, the Modifieds have been added to the weekly division card at the ¼-mile.
A look at the latest 2024 schedule has Modifieds racing nine times this season, with a champion to be crowned. Eight of them will be points-paying races going towards a season championship, while they will also return for the End of Season Blowout. They will also be a part of the Summer Sizzler for an eighth year in a row.
Modifieds join the card on April 27 for opening night, followed by the next weekend, May 4 for the Cabin Fever V8 Classic. A champion will be crowned on August 17, a week before the scheduled season championship night for the remaining five classes. The Modified schedule was created to not interfere with big Modified races at other area tracks.
