Springport, MI (Sunday, May 16, 2021) - After an exciting debut for the NAPA Outlaw Super Late Models resulting in a maiden victory for Matt Frazier, the Outlaw bodied warriors will be main eventing the inaugural Battle at the Port on Sunday, May 16 for $3500 to win thanks to AutoLab of Battle Creek.
Already expressing interest in the event are two of the drivers who were principal figures in the exciting race from last week. Another is two-time JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Champion Dan Leeck from Birch Run, Michigan who looked strong in his first appearance in an outlaw car at the track. Several other top names are expected.
Also on the card will be the Dragon Racing Fuel Street Stocks. Thanks in part to Complete Tree and Cloverleaf Landscapes the Street Stocks will be competing for $1250 to win in a contest that is expected to feature competitors from all over the area, including last Saturday’s feature winner, and Defending Track Champion Jerry Pierman.
The Port Stocks will also be in action with a $500 to win A Feature and $250 to win B Feature on the line, and there are dozens of cars expected to be competing for the special purse.
