PODCAST: Joe Balash Details the Return of ASA & Steve Irwin Talks Chili Bowl 2023

Former NASCAR Xfinity Series Director, Joe Balash, now director of the new ASA STARS National Tour joined Zach & Rich to discuss the launch of the new Super Late Model tour taking the pavement short track scene by storm. Balash recalls his time with ASA and NASCAR in the late 90s and 2000s and discusses the due diligence put forth in the formation of the new ASA STARS National Tour. The ASA STARS National Tour features a 10 race schedule in its inaugural season, opening in Pensacola, Florida on March 11th (read more).

When Steve Irwin begins packing for Tulsa this January, for the first time, he'll be loading more than just his note book and crew chief's hat. Irwin will make his Chili Bowl Nationals debut behind the wheel of a Midget on the week of January 14th at the Tulsa Expo. Irwin, a veteran open wheel racer, shares his excitement and expectations representing the State of Michigan at the famed indoor auto racing event.
