Sutton Moves Wright in Final Corner for Saturday Night World Series Win

New Smyrna Beach, FL - In what was a close Pro Late Model race the entire night, two regular competitor teams at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway found themselves trading paint for a coveted World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing win. After starting on the pole, Hunter Wright seemed to be well on his way to a Pro Late Model win, however, the Rackley WAR No.26 of Dawson Sutton had worked his way from fifth to the back bumper of Wright's No.29. Heading into turn three on the final lap, Sutton pulled the trigger on "the ol' bump'n-run" and moved Wright up the race track. Wright tried to cross Sutton over coming out of four, but couldn't find the speed crossing the line in second behind Sutton.

The win is Sutton's first at the World Series.
