Springport, MI (Tuesday, April 27, 2021) - With an already fairly aggressive schedule planned for the 2021 Season, Springport Mid-Michigan Speedway has added another attraction to the already stacked docket for the season. On Monday, April 26 the track announced their running of the Battle at the Port, a rare Sunday event at the 3/8s mile oval for the NAPA Outlaw Super Late Models on May 16.

“We had a gap in the schedule, and we wanted to give [the Outlaws] another big reason to come out here,” said track promoter Donnie Ritter.

In addition to the Outlaw Super Late Models, the Dragon Racing Fuel Street Stocks and Port Stocks will be on the card as well. $1,000 will be on the line for the Street Stocks, while the Port Stocks A and B features will race for $500 and $250 to win respectively.

The Outlaw Super Late Models will be competing for a very lucrative $3,500 to win with $300 to start. The track will be closed on Saturday, May 15 in respect of other large events going on at neighboring tracks.

More information will be released as we draw closer to the event on the track website SpringportRacing.com as well as the track Facebook page.
