Two Weeks after MCR Dwarf Car Win, Kemp Returns to Berlin for ARCA Menards 200 Saturday

MARNE, MI - Two weeks after going to Victory Lane with the Midwest Classic Racer (MCR) Dwarfs at Berlin Raceway, Matt Kemp is returning this Saturday, June 14th with Fast Track Racing for the ARCA Menards Series Berlin 200. The event will be Kemp’s second full-length ARCA Series event of the season and the first full-scale ARCA National Series event of his career.

Kemp has eyes on a competitive Saturday afternoon with the ARCA Menards National Series following his master class at Berlin back on May 31st. Kemp set a new MCR Dwarf Car Track Record, his fifth track record with the sanctioning body, and career win number 27 after an intense battle with Parker Tatro, whom Kemp was able to keep at bay. The win gives Kemp added confidence for the effort they can put in with the No.10 crew this weekend.

Back with the same group that led Kemp to his best career ARCA finish at Flat Rock Speedway on May 17th, Kemp is looking to build on the success this Saturday night. Berlin Raceway is a very unique 5/8ths-mile that not many can say they have mastered in any race car. Kemp’s MCR Dwarf win and experience at the facility, paired with the confidence he and his team have from their efforts at Flat Rock, put Kemp on the “Ones to Watch” list this weekend.

“Coming off of our front row start and top-five effort with the East Series a few weeks ago, I just know this team can do something special with the right partners,” Kemp said. “We’re putting together a plan to be competitive for 200 laps on Saturday and showcase just what we’re capable of.”

The Berlin 200 with the ARCA Menards National Series on Saturday will be Kemp’s fifth National Series attempt this season and sixth ARCA race of the year.
