FREMONT, OHIO (July 14, 2025) – Cole Macedo's first-ever national touring victory was certainly a night he'll never forget - for all the right reasons, and maybe one small wrong reason.
After a flawless 35 laps at Fremont Speedway - which forced him to fend off the likes of six-time national champion Brad Sweet and global superstar Kyle Larson - Macedo ended up flipping his Two-C Racing No. 2C into turn one after the checkered flag.
The 25-year-old Lemoore, California native was thankfully okay and climbed out of his mangled race car to the roar of the crowd at what is essentially his second home. In the most unique Whiskey Myers Victory Lane ever, Macedo's Two-C was towed to the front stretch after needing a hook to the scales and all.
It was his first-career Kubota High Limit Racing victory, but more importantly to him - his first-ever win on the national level of Sprint Car Racing. A huge momentum boost as he and the Two-C Racing crew prepare for five more nights of racing during Kings Royal week.
His 11th career win at "The Track That Action Built" was extra special as Fremont Speedway and the Ohio racing family became a crucial point on Macedo's journey to becoming a World of Outlaws full-timer in 2025.
Behind Macedo being a one-man thrill show was Kyle Larson with a runner-up finish in his first trip to Fremont since 2012. Behind him, Tyler Courtney rounded out the podium with a last-lap pass to gain a critical four points on Brad Sweet in the championship chase.
Closing out the top-10 was Sweet, Brent Marks, Daison Pursley, Rico Abreu, Joel Myers Jr, Tanner Thorson, and Danny Dietrich.
