The young wheelman continues to progress up the Outlaw SLM ladder and has high hopes for his team this summer.
In 2020 the race season for Brandon Short Racing ran a very limited schedule, as did much of the sport due to the pandemic, but the team did compete at the weekly program at Midvale Speedway winning six of seven OSLM events. Then add stout performances at Owosso, Lorain County, and Toledo, the number #18 Direct Detail, Hutter Racing Engines, Senneker Performance hot rod will definitely be a force to reckon with in 2021. In fact, Brandon Short was ranked fifth among active Outlaw Super Late Model drivers according to speed51.com.
“We had plans to travel quite a bit in 2020,” noted Brandon Short. “Then things changed, and we were only mostly at Midvale. I really believe we will see Outlaw car counts grow thanks to all the buzz the Reveal The Hammers group is getting and I look forward to getting back on the track with the best Outlaw Super Late Model racers in the country.”
